Carrie G. Lawson, was born in North Carolina on January12, 1941.She departed this life on January28, 2020in Baltimore, Marylandafteralengthy illness.

Carrie was a lovable person who enjoyed listening to her Motown hits, "Oldies but Goodies" while sitting on the steps. She enjoyed conversationswith her neighbors and eating Seafood.

Carrie worked at Universityof Maryland Hospital for 27 years. She enjoyedmany friendships while there, especially engaging people with different backgrounds and cultures. She loved her job. She will be truly missed byallwho knew and loved her.

Carrie shared her life and love with her companionof many years, Raymond Pressley who preceded her indeath last year.

Carrie leaves behind: five children,(1deceased, 4 surviving) four surviving children Marshall, Norman, Jacqulyn and Rynice (son, Anthony Boyd, deceased); two brothers, Freddy Shoats and Ollie Shoats and precededin death by sister, Lena and brother, Herbert. She leaves a hostofotherrelatives and friends.
