Cassandra Eugenia Talley was born to Roslee Fowlkes and the late Aubery Fowlkes. She was born on October 23, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. On August 5, 2011, she was called home to rest in the comfort of her Heavenly Father. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School system. She jioned Friendship Baptist Church in the early 80's. Cassandra met and married her best friend, Michael Talley on March 31, 1983 and from this union, a daughter was born, Nanetria. Cassandra loved to cook and found much joy in taking care of her grandchildren, Melvin III and Maliya. She was dependable and loveable to her family and extended herself to everyone. She was preceded in death by her father, Aubery Fowlkes and her granddaughter, Maliya Powell. She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Michael; supportive mother, Roselee; her loving and caring daughter, Nanetria; sister, Mary Williams; brother-in-law, Lamont; son-in-law Melvin Jr., the apple of her eyes, her grandson, Melvin III; mother-in-law, Gloria Harris; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Tripp and Jeanette Lisa Talley; two brothers-in-law, Gerald and Kevin Talley; one goddaughter, Princess Bridges; and a host nieces, nephews, cousi9ns, other relatives and friends.
