Rosie Catherine Fizer beloved daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine Phillips Coleman born on December 1, 1918. She's now free from all the pain and suffering and has eternal rest. She went peacefully after an illness on October 20, 2013. She received her education in Baltimore City Public Schools. She worked for Manor Hill for over 30 years. She was a devoted wife to Calvin Fizer for over 40 years who preceded her in death. Catherine was a loving and caring person and her favorite past time was sitting for hours watching Law n Order, talking about her devoted son, Donta while playing UNO cards with the grand kids. Catherine was a devoted member of Morning Star-Chapter 13, Queen of Sheba, and Pasha Court. She was also a Past Grand Matron and the treasurer and book keeper for the juveniles for many years. Catherine leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory: a devoted son and daughter-in-law, Donta and Shawn Garrus; a devoted nephew and niece, Earl and Carolyn Thomas; a niece from New York, Maggie Milton; one cousin, Hortense Brittingham, from Iowa; three granddaughters, Shelby Garrus, Kiara Garrus, and one she preceded in death before her arrival Spring Garrus; three grandsons, Donta Garrus Jr., Johnathan Hite Garrus and Key on Garrus and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends.
