CATHERINE JOYCE HAMMOND was born on April 18, 1968 in Baltimore, Maryland to Randolf Hammond and the late Carol Faulkner. After being ill for a year, suffering with Lupus and Nasal Fasciitis (form of brain cancer), Catherine departed her life on September 25, 2013 at 10:40p.m. Catherine was educated in Baltimore, Maryland at Lafayette Elementary then Catherine attended St. Phillips and James, then Catherine obtained her G.E.D. After Catherine's education, she began working at Kelly Services. Catherine gave birth to sons and decided to be a stay home mom and take care of her kids. Catherine was a proud parent. She loved her music, Prince, Michael Jackson and Elvis. Catherine also loved computers, reading and writing. Catherine leaves to celebrate her life: two devoted sons, Christopher Michael Hammond and Nicholas Davis Hammond; one aunt who she called Mama, Jean Paulette Freeland; her father Randolf Hammond; one uncle, Tyrone Lee Hammond; four cousins, Howard Joseph Hammond, III, Kim Lynette Hammond Abrams, Verma Towanda Hammond and Lynne Yvette Shuemate-McLamb; one step sister, Ay ana Hammond and a host of relatives and friends.
