On June 23, 2012, in the midst of her physical discomfort, God sent his angels to escort her from this earth to her heavenly home. Catherine, born in Baltimore, Maryland, was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sadie Lawrence. She received her education through the Baltimore City School System. she became employed in the Medical field as a Dental Technician until her retirement from GBMC Hospital. Catherine made numerous friends and could always he counted on to share a place to stay, a warm meal and wisdom. These qualities will be treasured by her family and many friends. Cathie being a woman of god always let her faith guide her daily life and always knew that faith would carry her during the high points as well as the low points of living. She leaves to cherish her memory; her beloved and devoted son, Freddie; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, sister-in-law, trusted friends Dr. Roger and Gail Voigt and Church family. Her siblings, Harvey, James, Thomas, Sonny, Bill, Francis and Dorthy took their journey before her.
