Cecelia Octavia Alston, daughter of Herbert Alston and Patricia Greene was born on March 17, 1968. She departed this life on May 31, 2014. Cecelia was an retired correctional officer. She was an amazing woman who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memories: two children, Deunka Alston and Aaron Ligon; two grandchildren: La 'Sheira Alston and soon to be born Baby Girl Ligon; four sib- lings, Bo, Nathanial Alston Sr., Addie Ross and Mykale Haynes; nieces, and nephews, Yolanda Alston, Lenora Alston, Nathanial Alston, Jr., Diamond Alston, Promise Alston and Jeremiah Alston; life partner, Janice Jones; close cousins, Lisa Smith, Lawana Parker and Martin Parker; aunt, Acquanietta Greene and a host of family and friends.
