Obituary

On June 27, 2008 the Lord Jesus took Cecelia's hand and led her in to His Kingdom after a lengthy illness. Cecelia Roberta Taylor was born on June 7, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Margaret and Howard Taylor. She was the eldest of six sibling three preceded her in death, Bernadine Armstrong, Juanita Turner and Aaron Brewington. Cecelia married her childhood sweetheart, Edward Parker, on Febuary 26, 1955. from this union four children were born. Her eldest, Gregory, preceded her in death. Even as a young child, Cecelia had a love for Jesus. She was confirmed at the age of thirteen at St. Monica's Church. She received her education rom St Monica's School. As an adult she attended St. Joseph's, St. Vernonica's, Holy Cross and St. Berardine's Cstholic Church. When her health started to fail and she was unable to attend church on her own, Cecelia started attending church with her daughter, where she rededicated her life to Christ. Cecelia was a dedicated worker and was employed at Cross Street Market, Joe's Lunchroom and Chemical Service. Family was very imprtant to Cecelia. She was very instrumental in pulling the family togather by cooking very large meals and inviting everyone over. Cecelia was loved by all. She enjoyed making people laugh by telling jokes. If she forgot your name she would call you "Doll Baby." Those left to rejoice in her homegoing are; her children, Veronica, Darnell and Timoth Parker; three brothers, Howard, Taylor, Lloyd Brewington and John Brewington; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relativss and friends,
