Cecil Henry Blake, son of the late Lucille Virginia Blake and Ernest Davis was born on March 27, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland.

He departed this life on December 12, 2020 after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in heaven by three brothers Gene, Carlton and Ronald. One sister, Sheila.

He received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools. He gained employment at Allied Chemicals. He later gained employment at Baltimore City Department of Transportation and has been a loyal employee until he retired.

Cecil loved spending time with his family. He loved spoiling his grandchildren most of all. He looked forward to praying for his family, especially during holiday meals.

He leaves to mourn his wife Geneva Blake, two brothers Alvin Blake and Stephen Davis, three sisters Gloria Davis, Teresa Watkins; brother-in-law Willis Potter. Two sons, Johnathan, Stephen Crump, two daughters, Geneva Williams, Tarnisha Fitzgerald; son-in-law James Fitzgerald. Two grandsons Tavon Perry and James Fitzgerald. Four granddaughters Semaje Fitzgerald, Tamya Fitzgerald, Autumn Crump and Morgan Ross. One great grandson Tayden Perry. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, sisters and brother-in-law, friends and many more.
