Obituary

CELESTINE LARUE PARKER, was born February 6, 1949
to the late Emma Elizabeth Harris and William Frisby in
Baltimore, Maryland. She attended Baltimore City Public
Schools where she completed and received her High
School Diploma. She departed this life on March 10,2018.

Celestine accepted and received Jesus Christ as her Lord

how she heard the voice of Jesus while outside hanging
clothes. That voice led her to join First Baptist Church in
Cherry Hill. She later joined Cherry Hill United Methodist
Church where she continued to serve until God called her
home. Celestine loved working in her church. She
ministered on the sanctuary choir, taught as a Sunday
school teacher and served on the culinary ministry just to
name a few.

In 1967, she met and later married the love of her life
Edward Earl Parker. In this union they welcomed three beautiful children.

Celestine worked for many years as a head start teacher
and daycare provider. She received numerous
certifications in childcare development. She was an avid

quality time. Celestine also enjoyed spending time with
her family, dancing, singing karaoke and traveling.
