Cephus Moses Wallace was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 20, 1948 to parents Loretta Weems and Cephus Weems. Pete as his family and friends knew him, attended the Baltimore City Public Schools. He worked as a janitor and would take a string of odd jobs to make a living. Pete was a free- spirited person with many friends. He was often seen doing his favorite things, being outside socializing with people. During his life, his father Cephus Weems, two brothers Donald Wallace and Cornelius Weems, preceded Cephus in death. Pete's first wife Shirley Wallace and two sons Cephus Wallace Jr. and Bryant Wallace, grandson Micheal Jr.; stepfather, Edward Boyd and godbrother, Joseph Thomas also preceded him in death. Pete leaves behind; his mother, Loretta Weems; his children, Necil Lane, Leon Wallace, Clinton Wallace, Nicole Queen Micheal, and Cathy Mallory; his wife of fourteen years, Sandra Wallace and three stepchildren, Nikki, Otis and Kaisha; grandchildren, Darnell, Dominick, Armani, Leon Jr., SiOnnie, SaNijha, Shammahon, Bryant Jr., Kevin, Joseph, Lakeisha, Aaliyah, Keyawna, Deontaye, Jasmine, Dorian, Dakian, Kayla, Ephyera and Khalib. He also leaves behind in his passing his godsister Vanessa Reed and a host of family and friends. Pete suffered a stoke in his middle years that debilitated him, but he still lived the last fourteen years in comfort. His restless soul will finally rest.
