Obituary
Charlene Vernelle Littles, daughter of the late Shakesphere Littles and Ollie Mae Littles was born on June 20,
1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on April 20, 2016 after battling a lengthy illness.
She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. After school, she gained employment
at Martin's West and was there for several years. She loved making people happy through their stomachs!
Later, she was employed at Under Armor. She volunteered at Marian House as a chef/cook. Marian House
will forever be grateful for the meals she prepared! She loved walking all around the neighborhood visiting
friends and delivering meals she had cooked. In fact, Charlene could always pop up unexpectedly, come in
like a whirlwind and be gone just as fast.
Although Charlene didn't traditionally belong to particular church, she had a strong belief in our Lord and Sav-
ior Jesus Christ and visited many different churches to receive and share the word.
Charlene leaves to mourn: one daughter, Latoya Debose (Dalton Debose); two sons, Trenton Yerby (Larry
Yerby), Lee Tarver, Jr. (the late Lee Tarver); four grandchildren, Tyana and Savion McCutcheon, Dereon
Reid, the late Darrion Kerr; a lifelong friend, Dalton Debose (Pee Wee); one sister, Tina Marie Littles Wilkens;
(brother-in-Law, Kim Wilkens); two brothers, the late Joseph Edward Littles, Vernon Wallace Littles; (sister-in-
law, Terrie Littles); Nieces, Kimberly (Kimly), Tennille (Visor), Tyra; Nephews, Joseph, Kim (Popa), Desmond;
stepmother, Viola Swinson Littles; stepsisters, Wynette Smith (daughter, Tracy), Roslyn Swinson (son, Ly-
nell); the late Thelma Ruffin and family; special friends, Dorinda Brown (Bay Bay), Christine (Crissy), Stepha-
nie (Stevie) Makle, Laverne, Claudia Martin (Boo), Billy Ruffin; and her extended family at Marian House as
