Obituary

CHARLES JOSEPH BLUE, SR., loving son of Joseph Blue and
Corbina Blue-Hobbs made an entrance into this world on January
13,
1959. He was the eldest offive siblings. Charles, affectionately known
as, "Blue," suddenly departed this life on Monday, February
26, 2018.

Charles received his education through the Baltimore Public
School System and received his Diplomafrom Edmondson High School
in Baltimore, Maryland.

After graduating from high school, he entered into the United States
Marine Corp. and completed service with an honorable discharge.
Later he would be employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI), then the C&P Telephone Company and his last employment
was with the Baltimore Bureau of Water and Public Works where he
enjoyed his job.

Charles was knownfor his sweet and gentle spirit which captured
the heart of anyone who got to know him. He had a signature smile
that was highly contagious and loved jazz, scary movies, being with
family and reminiscing about old times.

On November 11,1995, Charles married the love of his life, Cheryl
Ann Sheppard. Through this union they raised, Candis Renee Blue,
Charles Joseph Blue, Jr., Troy Sheppard and her nephew, Tywuan.
This blended family was blessed with many joyous times.

Charles loved the Lord. He and his wife frequently attended
New Psalmist Baptist Church where his son, Charles, Jr., became a
member and was baptized.

Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother,
uncle, friend and confidant. He was truly blessed and maintained a
tight bond with his family. Charles was loved and respected by all
who knew him.

Charles leaves a legacy of love to his mother, Corbina Blue-Hobbs;
father, Joseph Blue; his loving wife of
25 years, Cheryl Blue; three
children, Candis Blue, Charles Blue, Jr. and Troy Sheppard (Sheree);
nephew, Tywuan; five grandchildren, Caron, Aiden, Tyree, Taylor
and Michelle; three brothers, Frederick Blue, Steven Lievers
III and
Joseph Witherspoon;four sisters, Vivian Blue, Lela Campbell, Wanda
Blue and Tyshekii Witherspoon; mother-in-law, Mrs. Omie Diggs;
three brothers-in-law, Robert Campbell, Jimmy -and Kenny Diggs;
two sisters-in-law, Malinda Lievers and Caulett Elliott; and a host of
other relatives and friends.
