Obituary

Charles Timothy Bond, son of the late Charles Edward Bond and Francis Early, was born on March 21, 1974 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on September 3, 2016 after a brief illness.

Charles, aka Charlie or Chuck, received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System and graduated from Southwestern High School in 1993. After High School, he enrolled in Ron Thomas Hair School, in which he excelled and matriculated obtaining the tools needed to equip him to be prepared for licensure. Utilizing his acquired gift for cutting hair and receiving advance technical training and education in barbering, Charles Bond received his barber's license. Charles immediately found employment with Derrick Ausby barber shops 1't Hair Addicts and then Cone Heads. After being mentored by Derrick Ausby, Charlie was once again prepared to embark upon another milestone in his life. Owning, opening and operating Eqinox Hair Salon, "The Hottest Styles and the Coolest Cuts". Charlie's profession was more than just barbering. When at the shop or in the chair you became a part of an environment that was uplifting, caring and nurturing. No one knew that barbering will take you into the field of a counselor, social worker, advocate, mentor, teacher, and etc., because Charlie represented all of the titles mentioned.

In 1992, he set his eyes on a ripe, young fourteen year old, Latanya Lucas. Although she initially tried to play hard to get, his love, dedication and commitment for her mesmerized her, capturing her very existence, that she too would reciprocate that love. In December of 1995, out of that love, Latanya gave birth to Charles Timothy Bond Jr. In the summer of 1998, Latanya gave birth to Simone Ashley Bond and then in February of 2000, Destiny Camille Bond was born. Charles knew that the rest of his life would be with Latanya Lucas and his children; therefore, he decided that an oath before God, "where the two shall become one", must take place for the world to see. On June 29, 2003, Mr. Charles Bond and Latanya Bond became one. Their love for one another consistently increased and Paris Julian Bond was birthed out of that love in April of 2006 completing the Bond family "quartet".

Charles' genuine characteristics won the trust and friendship of many people. He helped anyone he could and took pride in being a "Hero" and using his "Super Powers" to help people. He will surely be missed by the people who loved him.

He leaves to mourn: wife Mrs. Latanya Bond, two daughters Simone (Birdie) and Destiny (Butta), two sons Charles Bond Jr. and Paris Bond (P), Mother Frances Bonner, Sister Kimberly Bonner, three brothers Tony, Kenneth and Chris Bonner, a beloved nephew Kenneth Bonner, Jr., a niece he loved; Kimberly, an aunt GiGi, uncles Marvin and Edgar Early, and a host of other family members and friends.
