Obituary

Charles Kenneth Brown Jr. was born on October 11, 1951, in Baltimore, MD to the late John Smith and Jean Brown Smith. He departed this life after a short illness on September 19,2026.

He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System attending Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School.

After high school he obtained several Jobs. He held one employment as a maintenance man at Townson Apartments where he retired from. After retirement he spent several years employed with Proctor and Gamble where he remained until his illness of May 2026.

Charles was affectionately known to his family as “STINKY” and Brown to many lifelong friends and family. Charles has two sons Charles Jr. and Kentral that he dedicated his life to raising to be Great men, responsible and dependent.

Charles enjoyed spending time at Horseshoe Casino, watching football, westerns and of course attending family functions.

Proceeding him in death, his parents John Smith, Jean Brown Smith, brothers Ira, John, and Colby.

He leaves his two sons Charles Jr (LaQuitta) and Kentral to cherish his memories, one granddaughter Aquila, two bonus grandsons Darren and Reginald, Brother Rodney (JoAnne), a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews: a devoted step daughter Tonya and devoted Aunt Sarah and Uncle Kenneth and of course a multitude of friends.

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
