Charles Allen Hill, Sr., son of the late Sarah J. and Lorenzo

E. Hill was born on September 21, 1945 in Baltimore, Mary-

land. He departed this life on September 21, 2019 after a

lengthy illness.

He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School

System. He worked various jobs throughout the city ofBalti-

more. He was employed by Maryland Drydock in his early

life.

Charles affectionately known as "Hotdog" to his family and

friends and also known as "Pop Pop" by his grandkids. He

had a very special bond with his granddaughter, Tysheera.

He met and married Barbara Ann Scott and from that union

three children were born, Charles (Pete) Hill Jr. and Denise

and Keith Hill whom preceded him in death. Later on in life

he had a daughter Dawn Hill and he was a father figure to

Cephas Brown Jr. and Melonise Lynch.

Charles met numerous people in his lifetime and was always

willing to help others. He will be sincerely missed by all who

knew him, learned from him, and relied on his advice and

strength. In addition he loved attending and participating in

family functions and activities.

Charles received Christ as his personal savior.

Charles loved to do crossword puzzles, watch sports, play

handheld video games, and had a passion for cooking. He was

a father figure to many nieces and nephews and will be

sincerely missed.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, John,

William, Archie and three sisters, Hattie, Vivian, and Phyllis

Dix.
