Peanut wasborn onJune 6,1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. Peanut suddenly departed this life on June3, 2020.



Peanut received hiseducation in the Baltimore City Public SchoolSystemafter high school,he wasemployed at the telephone companyandlateronin lifeheworked in VirginiaasaSandBlaster and when at home doing home improvement.



Peanutreally loved lifeand hisfamily.Hewill trulybe missedby all who knewandloved him.Peanutloved to partyanddance andhecould reallydance (smile). Peanut was alwaysthe life ofanyparty orcookout.Peanutcouldkeep youlaughingandsmiling.



Peanut leavestocherish hismemoryhisloving wifeElaineof32 years. Hissiblings Robert Hopewell, DonelMcQueen (Roy) PinaMcNealy;hissiblings fromNew York Nekesha Jackson(Alton),Tarnise Turner,KimberlyTisdale, and Gerald Hall. Hisuncles Harold Hopewell, Bert Hopewelland John Fenwick; hisauntsBerniceHopewell (AuntBern Bern), LouiseHopewell,SylviaWilliamsand EstelleClayton. A hostofnieces,greatnieces,nephewsandgreat nephews andcousinsa lot of them.Histwostepsons Glenn Cook Jr. andReginaldBailey Jr., hisdaughter in-law LynelleCook;a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren,he was Pop Poptoallof them. Peanutalso hadthree brother in-laws, Oliver Spriggs (Donna), David Spriggs(Charlene), Stanley Spriggs(Lillian); four very special friends,James Rice,DerrickBrown, lkeem and Fimmy.



Peanut waspreceded in death byhisthree brothers Harold Hopewell,James McNealyandWilliam Smith and one Sister Lolita Hall.
