Charles McCray Marshall, Jr., son of Charlie McCray and the late Delores Ann Marshall, was born on April 17, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on August 31, 2012 at 4:03 p.m. He received his education at Lake Clifton Senior High School. After high school he attended University of Maryland Eastern Shore where he played football. He worked at Mr. Pork chop Corner Store as stock boy. In 1979 he began working at Maryland Sweetheart Cup Company, now Solo Cup Company, as a baker then as a mechanic where he remained for thirty-six years. Whenever he was around the event was filled with fun by eating, laughter and deep conversation about life. He loved traveling, washing his car and sports especially football, basketball and tennis. He was very outgoing and very protective of the family with his strong attitude and outlook on life. Joe made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him as "Big Joe," "Daddy" and "Moe-Moe." He was always a true friend and devoted to his family. He leaves to cherish his memory; his father, Charlie Marshall; his children - daughter La'Keysha Marshall and tow sons, Joseph Marshall and Purcell Joinds son of Marie Marshall; son-in-law, Adrian Matthews, Sr.; beloved grandsons, Adrian Matthews, Jr. and Xavier Marshall; one granddaughter; niece, Kyah Marshall; two uncles, James Marshall and Eugene Summerville, aunt Richie Summerville; and a host of other family and friends.
