Charles Edward Rogers Jr., son of the late Charles and Pearl Rogers, was born November 22, 1942 in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. Charles exchanged this life for his eternal reward on Friday, September 30, 2011 after a brief illness. Charles was educated at Willie H. Vate High School in Linthicum Heights Md. He later received his GED in 1985. Charles went on t be c acab driver, dump trucker driver, MTA driver and a personal driver for everyone! If you needed a ride Charles was right there to take you. In 1965 Charles married Gloria Ann Smith and from this union came Charlene Smith & Sharone Rogers. Charles raised Yolanda T Bill as his own. Charles, affetionately known as "Charlie", accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord & Savior and was baptist Church in Lewisburg, PA on May 17, 1986. He received several certificates in 1985, 1986, 1987 & 1990 for the completion of Bible Study Courses. Though Charlie was not always in church he later joined Tabernacle Church of Deliverance, Inc. Charlie's famous saying was, "It's A Mess I Tell You!" He had a great sense of humor and his favorite drink was milk. Charles leaves to cherish the memmories of his life three daughters, Charlene, Sharone & Yolanda; one son Bill; one very devoted son in law Guy Scott; Grandchildren Antoine, Vanessa, Gerald, Jasmine, Shalon, Brandon, Tanisha, Donte, Tambria, Kayla, Demetrius, Anthony, Germaine, Geron; Long time devoted friend & Companion Cynthia Perkins, her mom Lillie, Anderson, those whom Charles raised, Doreen, Lionel, Kacenda, Veronica, Dominic, Dominique, Octavia, Curtis, Danielle, Montis, Darius, William, Tabatha, Sheida, Lil Lionel, Dashay, Destiny; 3 Brothers Earl, Gilbert & Alan, one sister in law Marva; Nephews: Mike, Steve Sr., Christopher, Alan, Alex, Xavier, Meshach & Steve Jr.; Nieces: Tammi, Tammy, Tiffinay, Rukiyah, and Maria, 17 great grand-children; Rogers & Gales family members and a host of other great nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
