Charles E. Stanley, son of the late Harry Stanley and Ethel Stanley, was
born on August 4, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life
on August 19, 2025, after a brief illness.

Charles received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools,
He had many jobs: he worked in a rag factory, did construction work,
and later gained employment with General Motors and was a loyal
employee assembling parts on trucks until he retired.

Charles was fondly called "Boatman or Boat" as he enjoyed fishing,
hunting, gardening, and traveling. He also enjoyed listening to his
favorite singers: Isaac Hayes, Barry White and many others and
watching old westerns.

On February 19, 1969, he was joined in holy matrimony with Rose Mae
Flood and from that union was Charles E. Stanley, Jr. and they also
Shared Kimberly Brashears and Stephanie "Alice" Thompson.

Charles will be greatly missed by many as he was a very caring and
generous man. He leaves to mourn his wife Rose of many years,
daughters Kimberley Brashears, Stephanie "Alice" Thompson (son-in-
law Alvin Thompson) and son Charles E. Stanley, Jr, devoted
granddaughter Angela Carroll and her friend Lamont Bailey,
grandsons Troy E. McMillion, If and Jerome and William Brashears as
well as Rashad Amos and Troy E. McMillion, II (great grandsons). He
also leaves to mourn his dear nieces, Dawn and Stacy Ridgeway (great
niece Paige Ridgeway) as well as sister Delores Tabron (late husband
Glen Tabron) and a host of other relatives and friends. He was
preceded in death by his brother Ernest Stanley and sister Ethel
Ridgeway.
