Charles C. Wright, Jr. was born January 10, 1933 in Sumter, South Carolina to Charles Wright, Sr., and Willie Mae Wright. He entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2021. His wife, Delores Wright preceded him.

Charles attended the Baltimore City Public Schools. He was self employed and loved his work as a cement layer and overall handyman. Charles was strong and hardworking. He completed projects with much pride. His profession was his joy.

Charles loved God and his family. He was fondly called "Dot," "Foots," and "Chilie," by his family and friends. Charles especially loved being treated to Atlantic City and Red Lobster by his daughter, Patricia and son-in-law, Larry. He had a great sense of humor, was kind, and would help anyone. Charles will be greatly missed by all whose life he touched.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Patricia Jackson and Sharon Marine; one son, Patrick C. Wright; son, Anthony N. Wright preceded him; two son-in-laws, Larry Jackson and Edward Marine, one daughter-in-law, Vernice Wright; life partner, Delores Miller; two grandsons, Xavier D. Johnson and Damen C. Mitchell; two granddaughters, Yukeia Wright and Briana Robinson; four great granddaughters, Deja, Na Veda, Tanzania, and Jordan; eight great grandsons, Xavier II, Marlin, Antoine, Cortez, Kristopher, Josiah, Konor, and Kia; niece, Bria Brown; sister-in-law, Rev. Elaine Taylor; brother-in-law, Michael Young, and a host of relatives and friends.
