Charlie Douglas Smyre Plutie was born on May 9, 1942 to the late charlie R. Smyre and Jennie Mills in Richmond, Virginia. He departed this life on November 23, 2011. Plutie was educated at Randolph High School. He worked as a Pipe Layer for the Baltimore Gas and Electric company. Plutie made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. Plutie leaves to mourn; six children, one daughter, Tracye Nichols, two sons Keith Smyre and Kore Smyre, two stepsons, Roger Fridy and Alexis Nichols and one stepdaughter, Carla Matthews; one sister, Ella Davis, two brothers, James and William Smyre; twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews adn friends.
