On Saturday, February 14,2017, our beloved
mother, Charlotte Jeanette Alford, was called from
this earth to glory after a long illness.

Charlotte J. Alford, the daughter of the late Rosalee
Franklin and late James N. Harold, was born on
May 6, 1955, in Baltimore, MD. Charlotte received
her formal education in the Baltimore Public
School System and the Barclay Career School.
During her leisure time, Charlotte enjoyed
shopping, collecting charms, jewelry, clothes,
cooking and shoes. She loved designing her own
clothes with a classic Singer sewing machine.
Charlotte was a dedicated home maker, hospitality
waitress, culinary chef, and worked for the
Maryland Lottery. She especially enjoyed
socializing with friends and family.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter
Rosalee Towanda Saunders; two sons Robert
Alford (Cecilia) and Norman E. Scribner [r., three
brothers, Leslie Harold, Antonio Franklin
(Christine), and Harry Franklin (Michele);
grandchildren, Rashad, Robert III, DaShaune,
[amirrah, Diominick, Kennedy, Amira; one (1)
great grandchild, nieces, nephews, two best
friends/sisters Diane Parker and late Shirley
Thornton and a host of other relatives and friends.
