Charlotte Lee Hogan was born March 28, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland to Charles Walter an Amanda Leeanna Virginia nee:Beaner Hogan. She transitioned from labor to reward January 24, 2012. Charlotte was the youngest of six children; Charles Henry, Katherine Jean, and Jack all preceding her in death, George whereabouts unknown, and revered Mary Ellen Porter. She received hr education in the Baltimore city Public School System. Later in life, she pursued a computer business course at Baltimore City Community college. Charlotte had three sons in life; John Holley, Jr. Spanky, Desmond Desi, Adrian, and Bryant Bernie. Charlotte gave her life to Christ in 2003. She also received a certificate of commitment to Christ during her stay at Courtland Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pikesville, Maryland. Traveling and collecting porcelain dolls became a passion of Charlotte's early on. Some of the places she visited were Las Vegas four times, Aruba, St. Croix, the Bahamas-Isle of Paradise, Jamaica, New Orleans, Canada, Atlantic City and Foxwoods Connecticut. Many of the porcelain dolls in her collection were priced as high as $800. Westerns, drama, and some comedy and documentaries were a part of the main videos and tapes she also collected. Other interests wee classical and jazz music, fine dining, playing pinochle, and smoking a cigarette with a good cup of coffee. Those left to hold her memory are; son, John, Desmond, Adrian and Bernie; one daughter-in-law, Letitia; grandchildren, Loren, Austin, Andre, Jasmine #1, Jasmine #2 and Sophy; a sister, Rev, Mary Ellen Porter; lifelong friend, John Holley; a loving and devoted niece, Marie Pee Wee who was considered by Charlotte as a blessing to her who took on the role of caretaker through all of her trials and tribulations; special nieces, Givette Pumkin Face, Altoviese Old Lady, Keisha, and Shameka; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
