On Saturday October 31, 2015 CHARLOlTE MARIE HOLMES
entered into eternal peace. Born in Baltimore Maryland on
December 9, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Rosie Barnes
and Melin Shepard.

Charlotte was a fun loving child with plenty of friends. Later in
life, she inherited the name "Cookie". Charlotte Holmes attended
Edmondson Senior High School. She liked reading books and
received good grades. She worked at Western High School, Loyola
College and later placed herself at Sam's Club. Her love for serving
people kept her busy in her career in the Food and Beverage
industry. She always worked hard so she could provide for her
family.

Charlotte attended The Glorious Church of Jesus Christ in Baltimore,
Maryland where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Charlotte gave two blessings to the world, Michael Holmes and
two years later, a second son, Sean Holmes.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Barnes.

She leaves to cherish her memory: brothers, Jerome Barnes of
East Los Angeles, CA and Darnell Barnes of Randallstown, MD;
grandson, Robbie Holmes of Rockville, MD; granddaughter,
Aviya Holmes (her diva) of Edgewood, MD; sister-in-law, Ailvinal
Barnes of Randallstown, MD; daughter-in-law, Cathryn Johnson of
Edgewood, MD; nieces, Matrice Barnes of Randallstown, MD and
Danyelle Barnes of Baltimore, MD; nephews, Tony Barnes Jr. and
. Daniel Barnes; and a host of family and countless friends.
Charlotte was a caring and devoted mother, sister, grandmother,
