CHARTA DENISE IGWE, daughter of Clara D. Henderson and the late Steven Madison, departed this life on September 21, 2013, after a short illness. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System and continued her education at Baltimore City Community College where she received her A.A. degree. She then attended the University of Maryland where she received her B.S. degree and was in her second year towards a Masters degree in Accounting. "Tay," as she was known, was loved by so many people. She would give you the shirt off her back. Her favorite pastimes were Facebook, family get togethers, gatherings with friends and the casino slots. She recently started fishing,-but refused to touch the worms or the fish; but it was relaxing. Tay loved to have fun and had the most beautiful smile. She enjoyed car rides and bus trips ("I don't have to drive"). She was truly devoted to her family and loved her kids more than life itself. Charta will be truly missed by all who knew her, and she had a heart of gold. She leaves to mourn: her son, Chijioke Igwe; daughter, Chika Nwaogu; mother, Clara D. Henderson; sisters, Yavonne Butler and Lykesha McDowell; brother, Ronald Paul II; brother-in-law, Rodney Butler; aunts, Sharon Henderson, Tonja Jenkins and Barbara Moseley; uncle, Robert Moseley; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
