Chatelle "Chatty" Sabrina Boone, daughter of Clayton H. Boone, Sr. and

Lender Boone, was born on November 27, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland.

She departed this life suddenly on February 21,2020.

Chatty received her education at Western High School in Baltimore, Mary-

land. She previously worked as a 911 Dispatcher for Baltimore County for

a couple of years, and shortly after she worked as a Correctional Officer for

Baltimore City Corrections. Chatty was a Horne Aid Nursing Assistant.

Chatty then had a strong passion for cooking and obtained a certificate in

Culinary Arts.

Chatty played basketball from grade school to high school. She was known

as a star athlete and led her team to many championship games. She enjoyed

family gatherings and playing cards. She loved to cook and was extremely

good at it. Chatty had a fiery personality and was very protective when it

carne to her family. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in

November 2009, and was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Baltimore,

Maryland. Chatty made numerous friends wherever she went and will be

deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Most of all, she loved her son

and was excited about being a grandmother.

Preceding her in death are grandparents, James & Pearlee Nelson; four

aunts, Ethel Mae Lewis, Olivia "Libby" Peters, Cindy Green, and Pauline

Nelson.

Chatty leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Lender Boone; father,

Clayton Boone Sr.; one son, Tavon D. Johnson; one grandson, Jrue D.

Johnson; one brother, Clayton "Skeeter" Boone Jr.; one sister, Shawntae

Boone; grandmother, Vernell Boone; one niece, Ashley Boone; two aunts,

Genevieve Gregory (Lamar) and Casslie Bolden (Bernard); two uncles,

Johnnie Nelson and Harlin "Van" Gray (Anna), and a host of family and

friends.
