IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cheryl L.
Williams
June 12, 1959 – April 25, 2018
Cheryl Lynn Williams daughter of the late Wilbert "Willie" Pinnock and Katherine Williams was born on June 12, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on April 25, 2018 peacefully surrounded by love and family.
She received her education in the Baltimore City School System. She was
drawn to fashion and style attending and participating in several different
fashion shows Citywide which led her to the field of cosmetology. She
attended Ron Thompson School of Cosmetology where she became a
licensed beautician. She had an extraordinary gift in doing hair as well as
making every client feel like a VIP customer. She worked at several different
shops until ultimately her clientele grew so large that she had to begin
to work out of her home to keep up ... to simply put it, she was "the best in
town" after retiring from being a full-time beautician. She held positions
with a few companies but really enjoyed her time with the United States
Postal Service and the Baltimore City Fire Department where she not
only enjoyed the work but made lifelong connections with her coworkers.
Cheryl gave her life to Christ at an early age. Being The Shining Star she was,
Cheryl was a longtime parishioner of New Psalmist Baptist Church. In 2012
Cheryl became a member of the Remarkable Womens Ministry under .the
supervision of Rev. Valerie Pearson where she received several certificates
for her diligent service.
Cheryl was a Loving mother to her son Gavin Harris whom she loved dearly.
Gavin was her pride and joy. In Cheryl's heart there was huge slots filled
with her love for Gavin, her Mother and Father. Cheryl also had her
furbabies whom she loved and adored Cinnamon and the late Muffin.
Cheryl was a true friend to many and loved by many.
Cheryl leaves to mourn: her son, Gavin Harris; first cousins who are
like siblings, Johanna, Eric, Frazia, and Roslyn; nephew, Ryan Alexander;
niece, Angelyta Trusty-Dukes; half siblings and a host of other relatives and
friends.
