Chester E. Hatfield Jr., also known as J.R. passed on August 26, 2015 in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 48. l.R. was born to late parents of Chester E. Hatfield Sr. and Joann M. Hatfield. He is survived by his wife, Lorie L. Johnson-Hatfield; daughter, Martia S. Hatfield; stepson, Daniel R. Johnson, Jr.; sisters, Susan L. Ewing, Linda M. Levere, Merry V. Hocutt, Patty L. Brannock, and broth- er, Jerome E. Hatfield; aunt, Dorthy; aunt, Darlene; nieces and nephews and a host of love ones and friends. J.R. was born on August 24, 1967 in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his GED thru Baltimore City Public School System. He workedfor Rukert Terminal Corp.for 15 years. He was a great family man and loving father. You could describe him in so many words but simply put Chester E. Hatfield, Jr., known to many as l.R., was an all-around good person and joy to be around. He was a great husband and provider to his wife, Lorie, and his children, Daniel and Martia. l.R. was not perfect, but you could not help but like him for his strengths as well as his flaws. He loved the simple things in life; gardening with his wife, watching football and wrestling, helping his children work on their cars, playing with his 2 dogs and cat, Buddy, Jasper and Shadow and much more. J.R. may have appeared too many as having a hard exterior but he was really a caring person and put everybody first before himself. He would give his last dollar and the clothes off his back if he could. To hear he was in the hospital shook everybody to the core although all that came to see him said that they could still feel his spirit in the room. But after a couple of days in the ICU, doctors and his family knew he would not be the same after his massive stroke. By Wednesday morning, August 26, his family made the decision to end his pain. After 4 short breaths, he went peace- fully to the other side as his closest friends andfamily were there with him. Memorial Service Joseph H.
