Cornell Christine Francis daughter of the late John
Vaughan and Alma Vaughan, was born on March 23, 1921
in Chesterfield County, Virginia. On January 24, 2016
Cornell quietly slipped into the arms of her Lord and
Savior.

Cornell attended school in the Baltimore City Public
School System. She was a very caring and compassionate
person. She was very dedicated to her position working in
Food Services at Sinai Hospital for over twenty years
before she retired.

To know Cornell, also affectionately called "Chris" or "Nell"
by her family, had a 'Jazz" about herself. She enjoyed
entertaining and sharing the finer things in life. She loved
to dance, read books, cook, bake and most of all she
loved to travel. Her favorite pastime was playing cards,
mainly pinochle, and she loved to shop. She will be truly
missed by all who knew her.

Bernard Cook, the love of her life, preceded her in death.
Cornell leaves to mourned the love of her life, one
daughter, Vanessa Francis; two granddaughters, Vanvura
Francis and Terrika Stafford; three great grandchildren ,
Terae, Kyren and Michael Jr.; and a host of relatives and
friends.
