Christine Gross, daughter of the late Carrie E. Johnson and William

Stewart, was born on November 8, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. She

departed this life on May 16, 2019 after a short illness.

Christine was the oldest child of six siblings; two sisters Tara and Tamela

Johnson preceded her in death. She took her role of "Big Sister" very

serious.

She received her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System.

After high school she attended Job Corps and received training in the

Nursing Assistant field.

She was a devoted Grandmother and Aunt. She enjoyed watching old

black and white movies, westerns and cartoons.

Christine was the mother of three children, Richard Brown Sr., Tyrone

Gross and Ashley Brown (Robert) all of Maryland.

She leaves to mourn: two sisters, Sharon Johnson and Pamela Johnson-

Pearson; two brothers, Emberto Griffin and Walter Johnson (Karen);

Aunt Charleston Watkins (Johnny); three granddaughters, Nakita Gross,

Tareya Johnson and Tiara Brown; one grandson, Richard Brown Jr. two

great-granddaughters and one great grandson, a devoted cousin James

Barnes and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and

friends.
