Christopher Lamont Gilbert, son of the late William Henry Gilbert and Christina Gilbert, was born in Baltimore, Md. on September 6, 1973, the youngest of eleven children. He departed this life suddenly on March 21, 2006. Christopher received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. Better known to family and friends as Corner, Lump and Uncle Lonnie, he made numerous friends wherever he went. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Among his many hobbies, some included drawing, dancing, listening to music and singing. He also loved to make people laugh by telling jokes. Christopher was very protective of his family and friends. In addition to his mother he leaves to mourn; four children, Markeys, Christian, Christopher Jr. and Christasia; four brothers, Lamont, Kevin, Shawn and Stacey; one adopted brother, James Lomax; six sisters, Jacquline, Wilma, Renaine, Tara and LaTanya. He also leaves thirty-three nieces and nephews, fourty-one great nieces and nephews, five aunts, two uncles, three sisters-in-laws, Wyvonnie, Lisa and Karen; and brother-in-law, Thomas Chase. Christopher also leaves to mourn: his lifetime friend, Latise Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
