Christoper Lee Lyles known by family and friends as Chris was born to the late Annie Tuck and Richard Lyles on December 25, 1960. He passed away on June 25, 2012. Chris was educated in the public schools of Baltimore City, and after finishing school found a rewarding position with Giant Supermarket. Chris worked for Giant for nearly 20 years and received numerous awards and certificates...even then people recognized him as the friendly, giving person always remained. In later years Chris used his experience obtained at Giant to gain employment at Super Fresh Market. In 1986 Chris married his sweetheart, Sherrie Edwards, and from that union two children were born, Kia and Kisha. In 2004 Chris was blessed with another treasure, his grandson Kahleal. Chris adored Kahleal and it was apparent to anyone who ever watched them together. Chris made it his routine to walk his grandson to school every morning and could always be relied on to be there and to be one time. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Sherrie Lyles; 2 daughters, Kia Lyles and Kisha Lyles; 2 sisters, Vanessa Gordan and Linda Lyles 2 brothers, James Tuck and Brainard Lyles;2 sisters -in-law, Angeletta Brooks-Lyles and Florence Tuck; 1 brother -in-law, Ronnie Gordon; 2 aunts Shirley Clauden and Alberts Hillery; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
