Mrs. Lemma Sue Williams (Faulkner), daughter of the late William Faulkner and Lemma Sue Faulkner was born March 17, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on Sunday, May 12, 2013. Lemma was born in Baltimore but lived for a short time in Pelham, North Carolina as a child before returning to Baltimore. She was a loving wife to the late Joe Williams and devoted mother to her son, Leroy Perry Daley. Throughout her life she was a very active and caring person and quite often was seen in the neighborhood walking here and there. Sometimes during her walk about the neighborhood, she found stray cats needing food or attention which she gladly provided and occasionally adopted because she considered them as family (children). Lemma leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Leroy Daley and his wife, Tammy Daley; two sisters, Annie Ruth Burnett of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Maggie Johnson (Leland Johnson) of Baltimore; grandchildren, Leroy Lenwood Parris Daley Jr., Dominique Alonzo Daley, Alexis Beronica Wilson-Daley and Aunyah Lorna Daley; three surviving great grandchildren and four step grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends who were very dear to her.
