Ciera Darden, the youngest child came into the world at 6lbs 9oz "smiling" on June 13, 1986 at 1:33 p.m. to the late Deborah Jean Smith and the late Ronnie Darden Sr.

She left us all heartbroken on Sunday February 7, 2021 after a long fight with sickle cell disease. She made us laugh for 34 years, 7 months, 3 weeks, 4 days, 7 hours, 14 minutes and 19 seconds on this earth as a bright bold ray of sun.

Ciera loved Betty Wright's song "After the Pain". Ciera was sweet, caring, kind and loving to everyone she came in contact with. Ciera was fun to be around and had a love for taking pictures. She was definitely the life of the party. Her biggest love of all was keeping children. She always had a house full from her daughter and grand babies, her god children to her nieces and nephews.

Ciera earned her general education diploma from Harbor City Institute. She worked a host of jobs from security, cleaning, and fast food to customer service and babysitting. She made friends everywhere she went.

In 2006 Ciera met Jennifer and they married in 2012. During Ciera's and her siblings' younger years their step dad Anthony Sampson whom they proceeded in death was a positive role model in their lives.

Ciera leaves to mourn precious memories to: Wife, Jennifer; 3 Stepchildren, Deontay, Antonio, and Alexis; 2 Grandchildren, Kahliya and Alanna; 2 God Children, Tae and Chayce. 2 brothers, Ronnie Jr. and Travis Sr., a Sister, Stacia; 6 Nieces, Nasyiah, Raniyah, Mariah, Brooklynn, Latice and Leilah; 6 Nephews Malik, Kareem, Marquis, Travis Jr, Trevon and Little Anthony; Cousins Tricey, Lil Tony and Aliyah; Grandmother, Jean; Grandfather, Samuel Sr.; 5 Uncles, Samuel Jr., Reno, Alfornia, Bert and Marcus; 4 Aunts, Sandra, Mary, Aurelia and Angie; Great Aunts, Great Uncles.
