Obituary

CLARA HELEN JUBILEE, the daughter of the late Mary Buttercup Brooks, was born on July 1, 1928. She departed her life on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 4:45 p.m. suddenly after a short illness. She attended school in Turner's Station, Maryland where she lived with her aunt, late Minnie Godsey. Clara had a close cousin, the late Margie Harvey, who started her going to John Wesley Church where she became a longtime member. Everyone there loved her. Clara Loved her flowers, her favorite saying was, "Give me my flowers while I am still living" and she had many more. She did housekeeping work until she retired. She was a very quiet person, but loved to talk. She had a very good relationship with her god-daughter Brenda Woods. She leaves to mourn: a sister, Sarah Goode; brother-in-law, Benjamin Goode; sister-in-law, Thelma Brooks; older niece who she said was a daughter, Barbara Goode Dixon, She had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
