CLARA FRANCES PEARMON, better known as "Demp," "Dolly" and "Granny" daughter of the late Elenor Miller and William Pearmon, was born on May 13, 1929 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. She departed this life suddenly on December 30, 2012. Her Christian journey began at Hall's United Methodist Church, she sang on the Young Adult Choir and was an honorary member of The United Methodist Women. She worked side by side with her sisters, Lillian Plunk, Elenor Rucky, Bertie and Vie at Homecomings and Camp Meetings. She did domestic work for many families. Demp loved to go to yard sales with Charlotte and out to eat, keep her flower garden and play cards. She babysat her great and great-great-grandchildren right up to the end. Leaving to cherish her memory: three daughters, Joan C. Williams David, Diane Cornish and Charlotte Queen Frederick; four sisters and three brothers, Lillian Pearmon-Riley, Shirley McGowan Charles, Alma Williams Odell, Linda White, Phillip Pearmon Yvonne, Archie Pearmon Cathy and Charles Pearmon; grandchildren, Marsalle Harrison Edward, Robert Dorsey Jr. Sharon, Craig Dingane, Darren Williams, Steve Dorsey, Mark Dorsey, LaTanya Lopes and Patrice McClinton; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; goddaughter, Ebony Bowser; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
