Our beloved Clarence Stevens, born June 17,1947 to the late Clifton and Willie B. Stevens in Yazoo City, Mississippi. He departed this life on March 8, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He received his education in Baltimore City. He served in the United States Army. Clarence was later employed at Sparrows Point, and then Bethlehem Steel, General Refractory and Lock Insulating. He married Addie B. Petty and out of this union there were four children, Kyle, Gloria, Connie and Leslie. Then years later he remarried Linda Stevers. Clarence, affectionately known as "Smiley" made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and a devoted family man. He loved to sing, dance, shoot pool and gamble. He leaves to mourn: wife, Linda Stevens; one son, Kyle Stevens (Cliff); three daughters, Gloria Stevens, Connie Stevens Riles and Leslie Stevens; two stepchildren, Tracey and Lionel; three sisters proceeded him in death, Lucy Mae, Geraldine Anderson and Doris Ann Wilson; survived by one sister, Teresa Stevens; father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Arlene Stevers; one daughter-in-law, Sonya Stevens; one son-in-law, Grayton Riles Sr.; thirteen grandchildren, Kenneth, Sharon, Timothy, Ricardo, Jermaine, Grayton Jr., Ashley, Kendrick, Kyle Jr., Milian, Smokey, Richard and Diamond; twenty three great grandchildren, one cousin very close like a sister, Jean and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and his three very close friends, Percy Green, Sharon and Butch.
