Obituary

Clarence Braxton was born October 24, 1932 to the late Joseph and Edna Braxton of Baltimore, Maryland. After a lengthy illness he departed this life on April 20,2015. Clarence was educated in the Baltimore Public School System. He received his high school diploma from Francis L. Woods High School. He was affectionately known by his wonderful smile and love for people. He especially treated women with dignity and respect. Even though he had disabilities of not being able to hear nor speak, he was able to communicate this love to a high capacity. He was able to understand you by reading your lips better than a well spoken person. Clarence was employed by the World Famous Lexington Market as a butcher for years. He then worked at the historical Hollins Market where he retired. Clarence was a "fool for pool". If the opportunity would have came to him he would have been up there with the big league like Minnesota Fats who was a world famous pool player. Clarence leaves to mourn: a very precious gift, his devoted sister, Louise Watson and her sons who helped take care of him when his illness took over, Man (Clarence), Rodney (Boy), Donnell, and Curtis (Buster); he also leaves to mourn, Marada, Saundra, Melva, and Karen who are his nieces and a host of great nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
