CLARENCE SAM MARTIN JR, son of the late Clarence Sr. and Julia Mae Martin was born on August 29,
1946. Clarence was baptized in earlier years at New Shiloh Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ
as his savior. Recently his health started to fail. On July 4th God realized one of his children was ready
to go home so he gave June his independence from pain at 10: 15 pm.

Clarence was fondly known as "June". He received his education in the Baltimore City School system.
He worked for Bethlehem Steel Shipyard until the company's closure. June was the first Black Tug
Boat Operator in the state of Maryland. He was very proud of this job and held it for more than 10
years. Then he was employed by the Super Fresh Market franchise for over 20 years. His last of
employment before he retired was Satellite Logistics. June received the Good Samaritan Citation from
the Mayor Kurt Schmoke in 1992, for the rescue of his neighbor's children from a house fire.

June hobbies were eating (loved eating), hanging out at the neighborhood bar Jigs with his friends, and
playing chess. June enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and children. June loved playing
the lottery (but hardly ever won), and loved watching old westerns and CNN. He married the former
Beverly Aye (even after divorcing they remained friends for life) and from that union they created
Clarence I I I . From his union with Vickie Gray they created Kina. June met Joice and became life
partners being together for over 25 years. They were married in 2004, during their union, they brought
Trisitan into the family 12 years ago and he has been their son ever since.

He leaves to cherish his memories; wife, Joice; One Son, Clarence III; One Stepson, Cory Bundy, son
Tristian Martin, One Daughter Kina Martin-Heflin, one step-daughter Carla Henderson (Kina's sister
Carla, he considered Carla his), Two Daughter- In-Laws, Cherie Martin and Deatrice Bundy; One
son-in-law, Troy Heflin (his favorite); Six Grandsons, De' Andre Martin (Mahogany), Michael &
Jordan Yates, Logan Bundy, Kareem Bundy, and Kalil Bundy; Four Granddaughters, Ciara Bundy,
Sydney Bundy, Lauryn Bundy, and Kori Bundy; Three Great-Grandsons, Dakari Martin, Khi Hart, &
Noah Bundy; One Great-Granddaughter, Zaraha Martin; Five Brothe<
