Claude Allen, the son of the late James Allen and the late Lucille Allen, was born on January 1, 1932 in Durham, North Carolina . Claude was called home to rest on November 17, 2005 after fighting a long term illness. Claude received his education in the Durham Public school System. Claude was employed with The Baltimore City and The Housing Authority where he served as a plumber for over 20 years. Claude was a warm, caring, and loving person. He will always be remembered for his big heart, kindness, generosity, big smile, love for bingo, and his love for kids. In addition to his mother and father Claude has five siblings to proceed him in death, Lafayette and Lonnie Allen, Ozy Blunt, Lucille Blunt, Joe Elliot from Durham, North Carolina. Claude leaves to mourn his fine memories, his son Carl Allen, and daughter in law Linda Allen in Warrington, North Carolina, four sisters Lil Mae Morris from Baltimore, MD, Bessie Smith from Dunn, North Carolina , Agnes Russell from Baltimore, MD, Viola Witherspoon from Baltimore, MD, one sister in law Juanita Julia Blunt, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He also has a devoted friend.
