Claudia D. Crowner Buchanan, daughter of the late Dorothy Harrod and George Crowner was born on December 20, 1944 in Balti- more, Maryland. She departed this life on March 9, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She received her education in the Baltimore City School System. In her early twenties she became employed by Provident Hospital as a nursing assistant. After years of employment Claudia became a full- time homemaker with her long time love Raymond Morton Jr. From that union they produced five children, Raymond, Joanne, Jerry, Gail and Topaz. Later in life she met and married Jackie Buchanan and this union lasted until his death. Claudia enjoyed being around family and friends and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her three daughters, Joanne, Gail and Topaz. She leaves to mourn: two sons, Raymond and Jerry; one daughter-in-law, Julie; three brothers, Harold, Wilbert and Hookie; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
