Clayton I. Young, Jr. was born in Howard County, son of the late Clayton and Irene Young. He departed this life after a lengthy illness on December 12, 2005. Clayton received his education in Howard County and Baltimore City Public Schools. He joined the Army on November 6, 1951, served in the Korean War and was later honorably dischard. He was employed by the Kronheim Company for thirty-eight years. He was united in marriage to Ruth Forrester for over forty-five years. Clayton loved sports, fishing and hunting. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Ruth Young, five sisters, Yvonne Wallace, Barbara Young, Helen Anderson, Geraldine Friend, and Shirley Henderson, three brothers, Edward, Joseph and Leroy Young; two aunts, Helen Fitzgerald Powell and Lillie M. Clark; stepson, Rufus Brittle; thirty-four nephews and twenty-seven nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
