CLEE EDWARD ANDERSON, son of the late Kathleen Anderson and the late Urie Anderson, was affectionately known as "Joe". He was educated at adkin High School in kinston, North Carolina. Clee served in the United States Army and worked as a chef for Howard Jonhson's, as dietary manager at Blue Waters Seafood and entered an enterpreneuship at Birdie Brooks Carry- out. He was an excellent cook. Clee enjoyed cooking, walking, and hanging out at mondawin Mall people watching . He had somewhat of a good fashion sense and was a snazzy dresser with a penchant for clenaliness and neatness. Clee leaves to cherish his memory: his faithful ex-wife and trusted friend, Betty Anderson; along with his two sons, William E. Anderson and Clee E. Anderson; and three daughters, Elaine A. Better, Anshrea D. Morant and Sharon L.Carter; three grandchildren, Leslie V. Better Jr. and wife Tara, Andrea M. Better, Lancia D. anderson; two great-grandchildren, Toni Anderson; two sons-in-law, William Morant, Sr. and Victor Carter; his sisters Gladys M. Anderson and Lucille Koonce; and a host of other relaives and freinds. We, the family always remember our departed loved one and keep him in our hearts forever.
