Clifton G. Smith Jr. "Smitty" son of the late Clifton G. Smith Sr. and Inez Smith was born October 10, 1950. He departed his life on December 24th when the Lord decided to call "Smitty" home his child was by his side. Clifton was known to many as "Smitty" he received his education from the VA public school system. After graduating he join the Marine Corp. In 1972 he met and married Evelyn Smith and out of that union they had one daughter Charmaine. Clifton worked for a construction company until he became ill. Smitty enjoyed watching wrestling, old westerns, spending time with family and friends, and his famous time of all is having a good meal. Proceeded him in death his Father Clifton G. Smith Sr. and one great-granddaughter Kamaiah Mcglotten; He leaves to cherish his memory mother Inez Smith; wife Garcenia Smith; one daughter Charmaine Coleman; one son that he raised like his own Rodney Banks; one son-in-law Charles Coleman; four step children; two sisters Sonja Warren (Demetriua), Inez Dykes; two brothers Brad Smith (Debra)& Clarence Smith (Lisa); Four grandchildren Danielle Gordan, Brittany Stanback, Mia Stanbank, & Bria Coleman; three great grandchildren Auyonna, Elontae & Brandon, Special Thanks to his care provider Sharron Gregg and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members.
