Cora Roberts, daughter of the late Janie and Robert Hardin Sr, was bornon
April 12,1947 in York, South Carolina. She departed this life and went to be
with the Lord on March 12, 2022. She married Henry Roberts Sr, and went onto have & children.
she received her education in York, South Carolina, graduating fromJeffersonHigh school.
Later, after relocating to Baltimore, Maryland, she completed aTechnology program.
Cora worked in the culinary industry for 27 years and loved hosting holiday
dinners with her family. Her specialties were her homemade biscuits and
banana pudding. She retired in 2011 after many years of working as a
security officer, which she loved doing.
Cora gave her life to Christ at an early age, she found a church home here in
Baltimore, Md- Alpha and Omega Christian Worship Center under the late Rev
Hamilton and then later on under Rev. B. Kornegay. She would pile all her
grandkids into whatever 4-door sedan she had to get them to church on
sundays.
After retirement, Coraloved traveling and visiting casinos. She also loved
spending time with her children and helping to
Raise her grandchildren and great grand-children.
she leaves to mourn her & children: Denise, Kevin Sr., Tracey,
Satrina, Felicia, Chester, Erica, and Tiffany; 2 sisters: Rebecca and Virgie
1 daughter in Law: Melvina; 3 son in Laws: Eric S., Eric),, and the late
Dennis Jr
17 Grandchildren: Davon, Travon, Mytia, Phillip,
Jermaine, Yasmine, Kevin Ir., Cortez, Devontae, Deontae,Lashae, Cashae,Kenay,Jaleel
,Da'Quan,Sha'Quan, Ja'Quana,
10Great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces,
treat nephews, family and friends.
And 6 brothers and sisters preceding
her in death: junior, Sammie, Robert Jr, James, Earl, and her beloved sister Clara.
