On Saturday, December 23rd, Cora L. Waters' earthly works were finished and she peacefully entered into eternal rest at Sandtown-Winchester FutureCare.

Cora was born on October 10, 1925 to the late Richard Waters and Maggie Ball Waters in Kilmarnock, Va.

She received her education in the Lancaster County Public Schools. She also accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young age, and joined New St. John Baptist Church in Kilmarnock, Va.

In her teens she moved to Baltimore and lived with her aunt Nellie. There she worked as a domestic and later worked for USF&G as their cafeteria supervisor.

Cora was a kind, fun-lovinq and giving person who always believed in helping others, especially feeding people. She loved spending time with family and friends. Cora always had a word of encouragement, but she was also a no-nonsense person who always spoke her mind. One of her favorite phrases was "You Got That Right!"

Her beautiful memory will forever be cherished by her loving children, Tommy (Sharon) and Betty, two grandsons, Charles and Sean (Ashley), one great grandson Tyson, one brother, Spencer Waters (Barbara), four sisters, Maria Curry (Carroll), Elaine Davenport, Delores Smith (Billy), Alma Lyell (George) and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Isaac Waters and sister Bessie Lee.
