Corean Inman Humphrey, daughter of the late David and Beatrice Inman, was born on May 30, 1934 in Mt. Airy, North Carolina. She departed this life on Friday, July 4, 2008, due to a sudden illness. She was married to the late Willie Humphrey on June 29, 1952. She received her education at Bladen Central High School, located in Elizabethstown, North Carolina. At the age of twenty, she moved to Baltimore, Maryland. She was a housewife, and she enjoyed helping people less fortunate than herself. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age. She was a member of The Jones Tabernacle Church, here in Baltimore City, where she sang on the choir and played the piano until her health began decling. She loved quartet-style music. Her favorite song "Jesus Be A Fence All Around Me" and "God Cares". She leaves to cherish her loving memory, four daughters; Mary Humphrey of Bladensburg, MD, Lynda Humphrey, Lena Bridgeforth of Baltimore, MD, and Lula Butts of Reisterstown, MD; one son, Kenneth Humphrey of Orlando, Fl.; one son, William and two grandso, Gerri and Milton, preceded her in death, two sister, Helen Jones and Sarah McCormick of Bronx, NY, two brothers, David Inman of Orlando, Fl and John Inman of Lumberton, North Carolina. She also leaves to cherish her loving memory, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one son in-law, one daughter-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
