On January 26, 2016, after a short illness, God granted Cornelia
Lucille Pendleton peace. Although her earthy journey here has ended,
Cornelia's strength lives on.
Cornelia Lucille Pendleton, daughter of the late Russell and Beatrice
Scott was born on November 10, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. Cornelia
better known as Connie received her education through Baltimore
City Public School System.
Connie married Thomas Pendleton in 1964 and soon after gained
employment. She worked as a substitute and teachers aid at multiple
Baltimore City Public Schools until June of 2015. Connie served as a
registered nurse at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital and several
Future Care locations. She served the Lord at St. Bernadine Catholic
Church under the leadership of the late, Father Edward M. Miller.
She made numerous friends wherever she went and became a mother
to everyone who grew to know her. There's nothing Connie wouldn't
do for others and always opened her home to those in need. She will
sincerely be missed.
Her hobbies included but not limited gardening, sewing, styling
hair, baking cakes and pies for churches, schools and the community.
Connie was a woman who set goals and held high expectations for
herself and her family. The accomplishments of her lifetime are
reflected in the legacy she leaves behind.
