Cornelius Russell Brown, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 after a long illness. Born on October 9, 1941 he was the son of the late Carlin and Helen Woods-Brown. He was married to Mary Freeman for several years of which they hadfour daughters. He was educated in the Baltimore Public School System. Neal as he was known to many always loved to drive to the Eastern Shore to visit his daughters, grandchildren and old friends bringing dif- ferent people all the time to meet his family. And Neal always loved the ladies. Neal worked various jobs until his health began to fail him. He was also known as, the "Jack of all Trades" there wasn't any job he couldn't handle. He also loved collecting various things always finding something to do with it. Never letting his illness stop him. In his final weeks before passing away, he enjoyed spending time with his daughter Mary and husband Tinley and a special friend Rebecca Miller talking about the old days and making us laugh. Always having a story to tell about the pop-off as he called it for the daily things that hap- pened at the nursing home. He also enjoyed daily visits from family and friends that help lift his spirits. In addiction to his parents he was preceded in death by thirteen brothers and sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory: five daughters, Mary Wilson and hus- band Tinley of Worton, MD, Cynthia Dorsey and husband Sheldon of Worton, MD, Cherise Brown of Florida, Leslie Bradley of Florida and Robbin Taylor of Baltimore, MD; 1 brother, Calvin and wife Raylene of Baltimore, MD; 1 sister, Charlotte of Baltimore, MD; 6 granddaughters, 8 grandsons, 6 great-grandchildren; 1 goddaughter, Gina Copeland; a brother at heart, Charles Jeter; a special brother-in-law, Richard Coo- per; several special friends, Harold Green, Bernard, Rebecca Miller and Helga Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, and friends. A special nurse Marcinthia Bryant of Owing Mills, MD and hos- pice worker Wanda who was always willing to help the family; two spe- cial children that Neal adored like family Aniyah Miller and Keith Waller with whom they loved to play with his toy trucks and helped with doing there homework.
