After her long illness she passed at Sinai Hospital, June 3, 2020. Costello Sykes was born on December 9, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama. Preceded in death by her parents Emma Hawkins Sykes and Frank Sykes. Most of her primary education years were spent in Cleveland, Ohio before attending Tennessee State University. She married Eddie Daniel Williams in May 1977. He preceded her in dates after 35 years of marriage. Costello had many successful years as a realtor in Columbus, Ohio before moving to Maryland. She served as member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. She loved gardening, was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing, camping, and hiking as leisure. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Okolo, spouse, Patrick Okolo, grand children; Sydney, Sage, and Patrick, Son; Michael Condon and spouse Angela Condon, Brother; David Sykes, wife Betsey Sykes, and Keith Sykes, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
